Arresting Developments … Quick News Brief

October 16, 2012

I just read an article claiming that Iranian police (being tagged “Iran’s Gestapo”) have arrested 100-400 Christians in Iran in the last 10 days. This round-up is alarming and begs for the attentions of the mainstream media, world-wide.

Please pray for the Christians of Iran, as they are under blatant and purposeful attack. Pray for their protection and release. Above all, pray that God’s will be done. The iron is to the fire, brothers and sisters. Pray without ceasing for Israel, for the lost, for the entire world.

We’re on a fast trek and I can feel the heat…can you?

Reading the above article was preceded by reading another article about a Mississippi man, Wade Hicks, Jr., who is unable to return home from Oahu. He was on his way to unite with his wife who is a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy stationed in Okinawa. However, after his plane landed in Oahu to refuel, he was detained, and asked how he managed to get on board the flight, as he is on the “No fly list”.

He is now stuck in Oahu, unable to fly home, to his wife, or anywhere. He has no criminal record, his only crime is being an outspoken American Patriot. http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/archives/6962

Similar stories of being harassed/detained are popping up more and more. Exercising our freedom of speech is becoming a dangerous choice. The people shall not be quieted. No threat will be enough to extinguish the fires of freedom that burn within each American who has tasted and relished such faire!

Do not let fear silence you, no!  Be emboldened by such news and stand your ground, for the Lord is with you and your faithfulness with bring glory to His kingdom!

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
