Sickness in the Pit of My Stomach

November 4, 2012

Good morning, good evening, wherever you may be…some may recognize that phrase.  It is 5:45 am.  I awoke from a disturbing dream at 4 am this morning.  Thankfully, today is the first day of daylight savings time, which means I got an extra hour’s sleep and it would’ve been 6:45 here, had time not changed, which is an acceptable time, in my opinion, to be awake on a weekend morning.

I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that I can not shake.  I’m not going to allow it to turn into fear, but I am not going to disregard it, either.  Too many things have been turned on their heads lately and everything seems to be coming to a hilt.   I live in America, as you  may already be aware, and this country has been hit with another major storm, Hurricane Sandy, earlier this past week that has brought many things to light that some would rather keep hidden.

America always likes to put on airs.   We want to be known as the great nation that I believe we once were, but in my heart of hearts, I feel such happy days are long over.  We have a crumbling economy, being kept alive on life-support by false means and we have a collective group of individuals that have boldly turned away from God.  Political divisions have definitely assisted this division and the support is now going in the way of the heathen, instead of protecting the believers’ rights.

Continued funding for wars that are unnecessary, as well as resurrecting areas damaged by the many hurricanes, tornadoes and floods that have bombarded our landscape in record numbers, have truly crippled the economy.  Add to that, the frivolous spending on behalf of our government and our fellow Americans, and you have one broke country.  People living high on the hog, applying for and being granted credit to purchase a lifestyle beyond their means, houses with notes too steep to keep up with, and jobs disappearing into thin air, have only compounded this problem.  And truthfully, the economy is only a portion of the poisoned pie we are dining blindly on.
We have been witnessing the overwhelming numbers of dying fish, fowl and wildlife for a few years now.  Some say that these things are normal, and that through out history, such kills have taken place and are to be expected.  I beg to differ.  I believe what we are seeing is the beginning of something greater.,1607,7-153-10370_12150-26647–,00.html

Anyone who is digging deeper than the untrustworthy sources of national mainstream media knows that this world is changing fast!  The intensity of daily earthquakes and the increased activity of volcanoes around the world, are telling signs of what is to come.  Our sun is volatile as well, and at any moment, could send a mass ejection, or solar flare, that could knock us all off the power grid, thus changing our comfortable way of life.  Again, it is true, these things have happened before and we only have records that go back so far, but to have all of these things accumulating at the same time point to the words of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ.

See Luke 21:7-36

“Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”

He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.

20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

First, look at verse 25.  Sandy just roared through the east coast, ravaging a favored vacation spot, piling sand over four feet high in some neighborhoods and flooding others, and still others were decimated by fire.  On the other side of the world, the UK will be facing record floods this winter, Italy and Nigeria are already experiencing major flooding, Australia is experiencing record heat, and India is also dealing with a wrathful typhoon that has sat over the land for four days.  This comes after a  several typhoons that raged further east (this season) in the Philippines, Guam, Korea, China and Japan.

In verse 29 & 30, Jesus tells us that just as we recognize the changes in the season, so shall the things He mentioned in previous verses, key us into the times before His return.  My youngest asked me yesterday, “Mama, why isn’t it cold yet?  Why is it still so hot?”  Even the youngest of God’s children can tell that things just aren’t quite right!!

Go back to verses 12-24…I want you to pray right now for discernment of these verses along with what I’m about to say.  I’ve given homage to such thought before through this blog, but now I’m going to be loud and clear.  We are in danger, our freedoms are more than fleeting, they’ve packed their bags and are awaiting for us to recognize their departure.  People, please do not fear, for the Lord has said that these times must come.  Heartbreak is on the horizon.  I can feel it in my bones.

I try to continue our day to day life, without fear, but I must admit to trembling from time to time, as of late.  Especially when two of my dear friends shared their own dreams with me.  Our people are having such dreams as mentioned in Acts 2:17.  I do not feel pressed to share links to such dreams here, do your own research, if need be.

Many in our country, especially the Christian faithful, are facing perilous times, and they are closer than we’d like to admit.  What the Jews faced during the Holocaust is exactly what we are now facing here in America.  The camps have been built, supplied and are now fully employed, awaiting arrivals.  The coffins were purchased first, then underwater body bags, and finally bullets.  The bullets are being delivered to military bases by FEMA truck drivers, anonymously reported by one such truck driver.   Foreign military have been welcomed into our country to be trained by our own military, in the name of the United Nations.  Our National Guard are being instructed for a time soon to come when they are to go door to door confiscating Americans’ guns.  (Also being anonymously reported, for safety reasons).

People, you have two choices here, you can chose to ignore the warnings and instead assume I’m just another conspiracy nutter, or you can consider these warnings and do the research, but I tell you this…you are running out of time, and fast!  Kiss your Happy Meal and your Starbucks coffee goodbye, because the times, they are a changin’!

I AM NOT trying to instill a spirit of fear!  I am offering you a chance to get your hearts prepared for what is about to change the face of our country forever, in the eyes of history and your fellow man.  It’s time to put away the toys and get your priorities straight and your relationship with Christ strengthened!!

This is why I have written about putting on your armor and trusting the Lord, your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength, and not to lean on your own understanding.  For our understanding has been misconstrued by the continuous bombardment of the entertainment world.  And they would like nothing more than for you to remain there, in your virtual realities.

They have captured your fancy and kept the truth hidden from view.   Who are they?  Well, that is a post for another time and most likely, another person.  I will just say this…there has been an agenda to capture the hearts and minds of this world and it has been successful to the umpteenth degree.  Fools for fodder, that’s what we are to them.  Have you been so wrapped up in the fodder that you’ve missed the forest for the trees?

This is my attempt to cut down the trees blocking your view.  I want to expose the truth through the words of Jesus.  (Luke 21:34) Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.

There is nothing we can do, except to hide within the Lord.  He is our shelter and our strength and our ever-present help in times of trouble.  You must find yourself within Him now and stay there, with your loved ones.  Go about your daily tasks, as day will turn to night, and back to day, and we are to be about our business.  But do so sober-minded, and with a watchful eye.   Many of us will die for our beliefs.  That’s to be celebrated!

Matthew 10:39  Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Luke 9:24  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

John 12:25  The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

So please, sisters and brothers, do not live a life of fear, but instead, just be aware of what is to come, and be ready to be called into action and used in a mighty way by our Father in Heaven who offers protection as well as peace.  Even in the midst of the storm, His peace is ours for the taking.  And if you continue to stand up for your beliefs and face death for it, die knowing that Jesus is waiting with open arms to receive you in Heaven.  Remember, He too faced death for our sakes.  The tables are turning.

I know that He will direct our footsteps during this time.  He will be offering supernatural protection and guidance.  Be always in prayer, sisters and brothers.  Death is only temporary and physical, but true life is found in Christ and lasts forever!

Until next time, Vaya con Dios!  (continue below for further reading)

Hosea 4:1-3  Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites,
because the Lord has a charge to bring
against you who live in the land:
“There is no faithfulness, no love,
no acknowledgment of God in the land.
There is only cursing, lying and murder,
    stealing and adultery;
they break all bounds,
    and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
Because of this the land dries up,
    and all who live in it waste away;
the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky
and the fish in the sea are swept away.
